I had planned on working right through the weekend and letting all of you enjoy a little peace and quiet from my end. However, a site caught my eye and it’s too great not to share.
Have you seen New Dress a Day?
The concept: 365 days $365 and a different dress every day. She’s cutting down, refashioning and making do. The ideas are fantastic and it’s taking every bit of self-restraint I have to not head over to Goodwill right now. Well there’s that and my obnoxious to do list.
Head over there and give her some comment love, she’s a 1/3rd of the way through the year and sometimes that’s the hardest part. It’s not easy to put yourself out there for criticism, in the hopes that a project will be a success.
I’ll be back on Monday. Have fun!
Wrong title–A Dress A Day is a fabulous blog written by Erin McKean about dresses and other things, been around for years. This one is New Dress A Day.

Thanks for keeping me in line. I’ll edit it.
This is impressive! It strikes me that this would be a great way to practice sewing as well. You learn how garments are put together and if you ruin something you got for under $5, no big deal. I'm bookmarking her for sure.
I know! I was all proud of myself back in February when I added a couple of well placed stitches to a dress because I was too lazy to go get it taken in. She's doing dome really neat stuff. I think my stepdaughter may find it fascinating.
Wow, this is SO cool! I love it! Thanks for sharing 🙂
How awesome. I would never be able to do what she does, but thanks for the link!!

some of her "re-makes" are just awesome….wish I was that handy with a sewing machine LOL i'm good to sew a straight line………..
I would have to say… inspiring! Might even get me is stop by a thrift store and see what I can redo for myself. That would be a change for me since most of What I have done has been all about the kids.
