Each Friday, we’ll be rounding up some of the most helpful and/or just downright fun posts we find on the web. Because we are unique and special little snowflakes, we will call this the “Friday Five”.
Without further ado, here are the 5 posts we rounded up this week:
1. Bruno over at Curbly tells the hilarious tale of sewage in his basement, in 2 parts. Funniest to me is Bruno using his handy-dandy Shop Vac to vacuum up sewage and deposit it in the sewer. Part 1 Part 2
2. Slartibartfast (Say that three times fast! Heck, try saying it just once.) over at Shoot The Moose writes a post about how to get your husband to do some housework. More posts like this and he’ll get kicked out of the secret man club. He also teaches us how to make breakfast.
3. Wenchypoo over at Wisdom From Wenchypoo’s Mental Wastebasket brings us some great tips on cutting down the time you’re spending in the kitchen. I had no idea you can freeze potatoes.
4. Margo over at A Mixed Up Momma gives us a fab recipe for creamed chicken and biscuits.
5. Amy from Motherload: The MomAdvice Blog and Meredith over at Like Merchant Ships are having an Iron Chef Mom Challenge. Who will win? My money’s on Amy, the Aldi shopper. Aldi is crazy inexpensive.
