Heather says: I recently found an old recipe for fudge, it wasn’t my own, as I have never truly enjoyed candy making. Thankfully the ingredients were simple and some research into the chemistry of fudge making gave me the tools to pass along this tasty and traditional version. In the near future I’ll post newer …

Long has the debate raged about whether ninjas or pirates are cooler. I like them both, but sewing a ninja plushie is a whole lot easier than sewing a pirate plushie. Check this coolness out:

Make it this weekend: Ultra Easy Rag Quilt

retrochick.JPGIvy says:

Technically, this isn’t a quilt, since it’s not quilted. You can quilt it, if you want, but that takes the easy factor down a notch and takes the fast factor down a few notches. As an intermediate sewer, this took me about 4 hours to make.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Free Shipping on orders $35+

Scissors or a rotary cutter and rotary cutter mat

Pan Seared Ribeye

Heather says: Sometimes the tastebuds say, “Grill up a steak!” but the weatherman says, “Snow, rain, blizzard, hurricanes, cats, dogs, plagues of frogs!” What to do, what to do? Why pan sear, of course. Now, it isn’t quite the same as grilling a marinated steak, but it has some of the same qualities. I enjoy …
